Paria River

Paria Canyon Adventure Ranch is an excellent base camp for hiking the Paria Canyon Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness Area. The Buckskin gulch, an area slot canyon that includes 12 miles of continuous narrows, is accessed at the Buckskin Trailhead or at Wire Pass Trailhead, four and one-half miles into the narrows. The Buckskin ends at the confluence of the Paria River

The White House Trailhead, about one mile from the campground, marks the beginning of the Lower Paria River Gorge hike. Considered by many to be one of the most beautiful canyon hikes in the world, this trek ends at Lee's Ferry, a distance of approximately 38 miles.

Shuttle service to each of the above trailheads as well as Lee's Ferry is available from the campground. In addition, shuttle service can be arranged for those lacking transportation to or from Page, AZ and Kanab, UT or for guests wishing to spend a day on the scenic waters of Lake Powell.

This is a welcome to Utah image.
